Fall Reduction Chairs

The Carefoam Rollabout is the positioning chair of choice for a variety of residents. Try this chair for any client who presents a difficult seating challenge – those for whom you have been unable to find a chair that works. As with all Carefoam products, accessories and add-ons are unnecessary. The exclusive sling-back design accommodates the physical changes of aging while providing lumbar support and thoracic stability. This design also keeps the resident’s head upright, eliminating the “looking at the ceiling” position so common with other chairs. The anti-thrust seat effectively prevents sliding out of the chair. The infinitely adjustable leg rest is ideal for residents with contractures or for those who need maximum lower limb elevation. All-foam construction and lambswool comfort cover eliminate hard edges, preventing bruising and skin tears. Seating areas are lined with memory foam, contributing to pressure management and comfort.

Note: Because the leg rest extends forward of the front casters, the Rollabout is best suited for
those clients who cannot or will not crawl out over the leg rest.

• Genuine Australian lambswool comfort covers (machine washable) offer superior skin care and comfort.
• Optional Alpine Fleece comfort covers are available.
• Crypton® upholstery fabric (two pattern choices) is water repellent, stain resistant, and antibacterial.

• Incontinence-proof seat insert is antibacterial SoffTICK® with welded seams.

• Fabric and foam meet fire retardancy requirements of the California Technical Bulletin 117.
